Questions about business restructuring
Is restructuring only for distressed businesses?
No. Businesses may reorganise for investment, succession or operational reasons. Financial distress changes the risks and the advice required.
Can assets simply be moved between group companies?
Transfers may raise contractual, creditor, tax and other issues. The proposed steps should be assessed before anything is moved.
