Questions about employment law

Is there a deadline for an Employment Tribunal claim?

Yes. Time limits are strict: many claims must be started within three months less one day of the dismissal or the act complained of, and ACAS early conciliation comes first. Please contact us promptly.

Do I need advice on a settlement agreement?

For a settlement agreement to settle statutory employment claims, the employee must receive independent legal advice on its terms and effect. We review the agreement and explain what you would be giving up.
