Questions about director service agreements

Is a director service agreement the same as an employment contract?

It may contain employment terms, but a director also has responsibilities as a company officer. We consider both aspects when reviewing the arrangements.

Should an owner-director have an agreement?

A written agreement can clarify duties, remuneration and departure arrangements even where the director owns shares. The appropriate terms depend on the company and its ownership.
