The scope is agreed for your matter. It depends on the documents, the issues and what you ask us to do.
How the work usually progresses
Understand the arrangement
We ask how the deal will work in practice and where risk sits.
Review and negotiate
We identify important terms, explain their effect and negotiate agreed changes.
Prepare the final contract
We produce or review the signing version and explain ongoing obligations.
What to prepare
- Draft agreement or existing terms
- Description of products or services
- Payment, delivery and renewal expectations
- Concerns, negotiations to date and signing deadline
Fees and the first consultation
The initial consultation is £325 + VAT. Further work is separately scoped and priced. We will explain the charging basis and any expected third-party costs before you instruct us.
Questions about commercial contracts
Can you review a contract supplied by the other side?
Yes. We can agree a targeted review or wider negotiation, depending on the document, value and risks involved.
When should I ask for a review?
Before signing, renewing or accepting terms wherever possible. If a contract is already in force, tell us about any current issue or notice deadline.
