Who we help
For employers recruiting staff, updating existing terms or bringing contract documents into line with current working arrangements.
What the service can include
- Employment contracts for new and existing roles
- Pay, duties, hours, place of work and notice provisions
- Confidentiality, intellectual property and restrictions
- Alignment with relevant workplace policies and director arrangements
The scope is agreed for your matter. It depends on the documents, the issues and what you ask us to do.
How the work usually progresses
Understand the role
We ask about responsibilities, working patterns and the proposed package.
Review the terms
We identify gaps, inconsistencies and provisions needing agreement.
Prepare for use
We draft or revise the contract and explain implementation points.
What to prepare
- Existing template or draft offer
- Role, pay, hours and work location
- Relevant policies and benefits
- Any access to sensitive information or customer relationships
Fees and the first consultation
The initial consultation is £325 + VAT. Further work is separately scoped and priced. We will explain the charging basis and any expected third-party costs before you instruct us.
Questions about employment contracts
Can we use one contract for every employee?
A consistent template can help, but terms should be checked against the role and working arrangements. Senior appointments may need different provisions.
Do you advise on contractor arrangements too?
Yes. We have a separate contractor agreements service. The correct documentation depends on the actual relationship, not simply the name given to it.
