Questions about shareholder agreements
Do the company’s articles replace a shareholder agreement?
They serve different purposes. We review them together so that the ownership arrangements do not pull in different directions.
Can an agreement be updated after a new investor joins?
Yes, subject to the existing documents and the parties’ agreement. It is sensible to review the arrangements before issuing or transferring shares.
