Global Talent Visa

We have expertise and will be happy to guide you through the various stages of the application process.

How can we help?

By instructing us with your application for the Global Talent Visa, we will ensure that your application is prepared to the highest standard to increase the chances of a successful outcome for you.

  1. Eligibility Assessment
  • Initial Consultation: we will evaluate whether you qualify for the Global Talent Visa. This visa is typically available to highly skilled individuals in fields such as science, humanities, engineering, the arts, and technology.
  • Review of Qualifications: we will assess your academic background, professional experience, and any potential achievements to determine if you meet the required criteria.
  1. Choosing the Correct Endorsement Route

The Global Talent Visa requires applicants to receive an endorsement from a recognised body in their field. There are different routes based on the field of expertise:

  • Exceptional Talent: For those who are internationally recognised as leaders in their field.
  • Exceptional Promise: for those with potential to become leaders in their field.
  • Endorsement Bodies: we will identify the appropriate endorsement body (e.g., The Royal Society for scientists, Tech Nation for digital technology professionals, or Arts Council England for creatives) and help you understand the specific requirements for each body.
  1. Preparing the Endorsement Application
  • Documentation & Evidence: we will assist you in gathering and preparing the necessary documents, such as recommendation letters, awards, publications, or other evidence about your outstanding achievements and potential.
  • Drafting the Application: we will help draft the application, ensuring that it presents your qualifications, accomplishments, and career trajectory in a way that meets the endorsement body’s criteria.
  1. Submission and Follow-up
  • Filing the Endorsement Application: we will submit the endorsement application to the relevant endorsing body and handle any follow-up communication.
  • Advising on Feedback: If the endorsement is not granted or if additional information is requested, we can guide you on how to respond and revise the application.
  1. Visa Application
  • Once the endorsement is granted, we can assist with the visa application process itself, ensuring all documentation is complete and submitted correctly. This includes:
  • Completing the visa application form.
  • Gathering additional required documents (e.g., proof of financial means, passport, etc.).
  • Paying the application fee and healthcare surcharge.
  1. Appeals and Challenges
  • If the endorsement or visa application is refused, we can advise on the options for appeal or reapplication, helping to identify any issues and resolve them effectively.
  1. Post-Visa Support
  • We may also provide guidance after the visa is granted, assisting with any further immigration issues (e.g., family members’ applications, indefinite leave to remain, etc.).

What are the fees?

The costs associated with applying for a UK Global Talent Visa can vary depending on several factors. Below is an approximate breakdown of the typical costs:

  1. Solicitor Fees:

Solicitor fees for preparing a Global Talent Visa application can vary significantly depending on the complexity of the case and the level of support required. We charge a fixed fee. On average, solicitor fees typically range from £5,000 to £7,000 or more for the entire process. This fee may include:

  • Consultation and eligibility assessment
  • Preparation of the endorsement application (including gathering evidence, drafting reference letters, and liaising with the endorsing body)
  • Assistance with the visa application (completing forms, advising on required documentation, submitting the application)
  • Appeals or follow-up services (if the application is refused or needs adjustments)

For more complex cases, such as applicants with a large body of work or multiple endorsement bodies involved, the fees could be higher.

  1. Government Fees:

Government fees for the UK Global Talent Visa consist of two main components: endorsement application fees and visa application fees.

Endorsement Fee:

  • Endorsement Body Application:
  • There is no charge for the endorsement application itself, but certain endorsement bodies may charge a fee for administrative costs. For example:
  • Tech Nation (for digital technology professionals): This endorsement may require an application fee of around £456 (as of 2025).
  • Other bodies, such as The Royal Society or Arts Council England, may have their own processes, but generally, no direct government fee is attached to the endorsement process itself.

Visa Application Fee:

The government fee for applying for a Global Talent Visa depends on the length of stay and whether the applicant is applying for an initial or extension visa. The fees for the visa application (after endorsement) are as follows:

  • For an initial application (3 years):
  • £152 – £608 depending on whether the applicant is applying from inside or outside the UK, and their specific situation.
  • For an initial application (5 years):
  • £152 – £1,052 depending on similar factors (applying from within or outside the UK).
